If you’ve been following the career of Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita Wurst like I have in the last couple of months, you’ll know already how much she’s in demand. Concerts all over Europe, photoshoots, magazine and newspaper interviews and, of course, her appearance in Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture show this week – Ms. Wurst has so many offers, there isn’t enough time in the day to accept them all.
So, when she told ESC in an interview last week that ‘everything change for the better’ after her Eurovision win, no, it’s not surprising at all.
In the ESC interview, recorded while Conchita was in Spain for Madrid Pride, Conchita also talks about how she always wanted her life to be the way it is now, and that even Elton John and Cher now know who she is. A fact she seems delighted with.
That’s because, as she says, “Anything can happen now, and it feels so good”.
