Conchita Wurst will release ‘Firestorm/Colours of Your Love’ double single on July 3rd
Eurovision Song Contest winner Conchita Wurst’s debut album ‘Conchita‘ has done extremely well since its’ release on May 15th. Number 1 in Austria and a platinum record, number 6 in Switzerland and, altogether, top 10 on album charts in 12 countries.
Three singles have already been released from the album — ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’, ‘Heroes’ and ‘You Are Unstoppable‘. On July 3rd, however, Conchita will release a double single — ‘Firestorm/Colours of Your Love‘ — a first for her.
Of the two, ‘Firestorm‘ is the perfect club song with a cool retro house beat, and it’s the newest one Conchita Wurst has been singing live. Her best performance of it was just last week at La Fête de la Musique in Nice.
As for ‘Colours of Your Love’, it’s the song Conchita says she usually starts listening to her album from, so I’m guessing it’s one of her favorites. It’s also a song that starts off slow, like a ballad, and then morphs into the funkiest and coolest electronic dance track.
So, no real wonder Conchita has decided these two will be on her first double single. They’re the perfect combination.
You can grab Conchita’s double single — ‘Firestorm/Colours of Your Love‘ on iTunes starting on July 3rd. Or, you could just buy the whole ‘Conchita‘ album right now.
I have it and, if it’s possible to wear out a digital file, mine’s almost done I’ve played it that much because, honestly, there isn’t a bad song on it.
Meanwhile, listen to both double single tracks in the videos below. Aren’t they just fabulous?
