Years ago, when I was in a relationship with a man I should have never even said ‘hello’ to, let alone done anything else with, I used to play Counting Crows ‘Round Here’ all the time. Even though it was plaintive and sad, it was also beautiful and always made me feel better. Even with the line, “Round here we talk just like lions, but we sacrifice like lambs”. Still made me feel better.
So, I’m playing Counting Crows ‘Round Here’ today as my Repeat Rotation Video. Not because I’m sad, but because I’m happy, and I’m still here.
