Crash Course in Romance stills from Ep 15 and Ep16 released as actors are thanked for their work

**SPOILERS BELOWDon’t read unless you have already watched Crash Course in Romance, Episodes 15 and 16

With the last two episodes of the Korean drama Crash Course in Romance airing last Saturday and Sunday nights, many of us are now already missing our favorite characters.

After all, it has been quite a while since a Korean drama grabbed the hearts of so many people in so many different countries, including myself.

Someone who has seen hundreds of K-dramas, but was more touched by this than by most.

Luckily for us, though, the Korean network tvN has released a whole slew of Crash Course in Romance stills from Episode 15 and Episode 16 today.

(see all of them below)

As, let’s face it, they understand many fans are still not willing to let go of these fabulous characters just yet, right?

Stills that not only feature the wonderful main leads — Nam Haeng Seon (played by Jeon Do Yeon) and Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho) – but some of our loved, and maybe not so loved at first, characters from the rom-com/murder mystery drama.

Stills that also come from all kinds of different scenes, thus giving us a quick overview of the events of the last two episodes. In photo form.

The plot of Crash Course in Romance

Crash Course in Romance, of course, tells the story of side dish shop owner Nam Haeng Seon and celebrity math instructor Choi Chi Yeol, who meet under strange circumstances.

Then, as coincidence after coincidence seems to work towards bringing the two of them together, they slowly fall in love.

Throw in a murder mystery, a group of the most interfering, obnoxious mothers of high school students you have ever come across, some of the best supporting characters of any K-drama in the last decade, and there isn’t a minute of Crash Course in Romance that is boring.

It is no wonder then that it has become the sixth most-watched drama tvN has ever produced.

The Crash Course in Romance stills from Episode 15 and 16

Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete wrap of the drama if tvN, the Korean network airing Crash Course in Romance, didn’t release stills from the final episodes.

Something tvN did earlier today with some beautiful Crash Course in Romance stills from Episode 15 and 16.

Stills that not only show the characters we love, but also the wonderful cinematography that made this drama even more beautiful.

There are more than 20 stills from both episodes.

The stills cover everything from the aftermath of Ji Dong Hee’s suicide, Nam Hae Yi in the hospital and her two friends visiting her, Hae Yi’s welcome home party, Hae Yi announcing she is moving to Japan with her mother and the argument the two have because of it.

Other Crash Course in Romance stills from Episode 15 and Episode 16 also include Choi Chi Yeol out drinking with his friend Jeon Jong Ryeol who, after years of detesting him, now realizes he misjudged him for too long.

Of course, the marriage proposal between Choi Chi Yeol and Nam Haeng Seon is also highlighted in the stills, including a close up of that gorgeous Tiffany ring.

(And wasn’t that proposal the loveliest thing?)

Two other stills are from that lovely scene where Nam Haeng Seon goes to the school to congratulate Hae Yi for her exam results, and Hae Yi runs towards her “mother” laughing.

Other photos have Nam Hae Yi finally deciding which of the two boys she wants to date, and then letting him know by kissing him.

And, of course, the shock on that lucky boy’s face as he realizes.

The most beautiful, though, I believe, are those final wonderful scenes of Nam Haeng Seon and Choi Chi Yeol.

The ones of her studying for her sports certification exams, Chi Yeol picking up his girlfriend after her study session, Haeng Seon realizing she passed her exam (finally), and then, of course, Choi Chi Yeol and Nam Haeng Seon kissing on the street so they can “cause a scandal”.

After all, that’s a display of affection not often seen in Korea, especially from anyone above the age of about 25. But that still didn’t stop it from being lovely.

The last photo, which is featured right at the top of this page, is of actors Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho with director Yoo Jee Won.

All three of them are holding bouquets of flowers in thanks for their amazing work, and to celebrate the end of filming of Crash Course in Romance.

Enjoy the wonderful Crash Course in Romance stills from Episode 15 and 16 — (you can check out other stills, videos and commentary from the drama on Leo Sigh here as well) — courtesty of tvN.

Crash Course in Romance is currently streaming outside Korea on Netflix.

It is easily one of the best dramas out of Korea in quite a while.

And keep your eyes out for Jeon Do Yeon in her next project — the movie Kill Boksoon, which premieres on Netflix at the end of this month.
