Singer songwriter and political activist Cyndi Lauper threw her annual Home for the Holidays benefit on Saturday night in New York and, during it, she got on stage with the iconic Kurt Vile to sing cool versions of her hit single ‘Money Changes Everything‘ and the Rolling Stones ‘As Tears Go By‘.
As every year, proceeds from Home for the Holidays go to her True Colors fund, which helps homeless LGBT youth.
And I watch Cyndi Lauper singing and it takes me back a couple of decades when I used to play her songs on my radio show because, frankly, just looking at her, how is it possible that she is already 62 years old?
And how cool is it that we now live in a world that 62 looks and acts like that?
