The ratings for the JTBC drama Destined with You, Episode 6 hit another all-time low in Seoul tonight, with the fantasy drama also seeing falling ratings with South Korean viewers nationwide.
Just released numbers from Nielsen Korea show Destined with You, Episode 6 garnering an all-time low rating of 2.37 percent in Seoul, which is down from the previous episode’s 2.50 percent.
The drama also saw a similar drop nationwide, earning 2.56 percent of the audience share, which is down from Episode 5’s rating of 2.80 percent.
International ratings for Destined with You
While the fantasy drama seems to be struggling to find an audience in South Korea, the Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah-led drama has been performing well with international audiences since its release via Netflix, where it is currently streaming.
According to FlixPatrol, the drama is the sixth most-watched Non-English TV show on the streaming platform today, which is a small drop from its third place on the list last week.
That being said, some international viewers are complaining about Episode 6 on forums like My Drama List, where they say Episode 6 was a “filler episode” and, thus, quite dull.
The JTBC drama is also only being rated a low 7.8 out of 10 on IMDB.
All I can say is I dropped Destined with You after Episode 4 as, no matter how much I tried and no matter how much I like Rowoon, the drama was not able to hold my attention from its very first episode.
For those still watching, the next episode of Destined with You will air on JTBC in South Korea on Wednesday, September 13th at 22:30 (KST), with Netflix streaming it soon after.
