The cast and crew of the South Korean drama Destined with You must have been thrilled with last night’s ratings fot the latest episode.
That is because, according to Nielsen Korea, Destined with You, Episode 8 earned its highest rating yet nationwide, with a 2.96 percent of the audience share.
Not a particularly high rating for a JTBC drama, but a high rating for Destined with You, which had dropped as low as 2.00 percent (Episode 3) during the first half of the series.
The drama also saw a similar result in Seoul, with Nielsen reporting Destined with You, Episode 8 took 3.14 percent of the audience, which is slightly up from its previous episode’s 3.13 percent.
Both ratings put the drama in 7th (nationwide) and 5th place (Seoul) on cable TV.
International viewers and Destined with You
Netflix viewers also seem to be still enjoying the Korean drama, as the streaming platform recently reported the Jo Bo Ah/Rowoon-led drama was the fourth most-watched non-English TV series on Netflix for the week of September 4th to 10th.
According to FlixPatrol, the drama has since dropped to ninth place, but is still in the top 10 as of this morning with over 16 million hours viewed so far.
Destined with You heads into its second half next week, with the next episode airing on JTBC on Wednesday, September 20th at at 22:30 (KST).
Netflix will stream the next episode for most regions soon after.
