I am obsessed with British singer songwriter Ellem’s ‘Shattered Matter‘ video as my Repeat Rotation Video today. It’s a video animation created by Ed Saxby using the saddest and most heart-wrenching black and white photos from photographer Lee Jeffries, and featuring Ellem and her band We Came As Strangers.
‘Shattered Matter‘ was released in June, 2014 as a single from the album of the same name by the band We Came As Strangers.
As for Ellem, she is currently based in Los Angeles and London where, along with playing with her band and a busy solo career, she also writes songs that have been featured on more than 100 movies, TV shows and commercials so far.
No wonder she is in such demand, as what she produces is just beautiful.
Listen to Ellem’s evocative ‘Shattered Matter‘ below and watch that stunning video. Because, sure, I may be featuring it as my Repeat Rotation Video today but that’s not the only reason why I have watched it 20 times already.
