The BBC has confirmed English singer songwriter Ellie Goulding’s new single is a track called ‘Army‘, and it will be performed by Goulding live for the first time at the BBC Children in Need 2015 event on Friday November 13th on BBC One.

The track is from her upcoming third studio album Delirium, which will be releasing on November 6th.

Army‘ was written by Goulding in collaboration with Swedish songwriter Max Martin, Grammy nominated American songwriter Savan Kotecha and Iranian record producer Ali Payami, so it’s likely to be another big hit for her if those names are anything to go by.

As for the album itself, Goulding has said it has much more of a pop vibe to it than her previous work, which she is viewing as “an experiment”.

Will be interesting to see what fans think. Personally, though, I’m not a fan of the first single released from the album ‘On My Mind’, so am definitely interested to see if that is the prevalent theme of the album.
