Enhypen’s ‘Sweet Venom’ live performance on Music Bank is cool, stylish and, yep, fire

Enhypen’s live performance of ‘Sweet Venom

With boy band Enhypen’s fifth EP Orange Blood coming out earlier this month, it is not surprising they are currently promoting the EP, including live performances on TV.

One of those stops was on the popular Friday night music show Music Bank last week, with the boy band showing up to give a live performance of their single from the EP — Enhypen’s ‘Sweet Venom‘.

In true Enhypen fashion, the boy band’s live performance of ‘Sweet Venom‘ features their usual superbly choreographed and beautifully performed dance moves.

Plus, of course, on point vocals, and lots of cheeky grins and suggestive looks thrown at the camera from the lads themselves.

The boys of Enhypen, who were introduced at the beginning of their live Music Bank performance in the order of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunoo, Ni-ki and Sunghoon, appeared on stage in stylish black pants matched with various combinations of leather shirt and jacket.

Accented with clunky silver jewelry, the Enhypen lads were just as cool as they are talented, and all of it came together to produce a fabulous live performance that, quite frankly, was fire.

From the screams from the audience throughout Enhypen’s live ‘Sweet Venom‘ performance, you could tell they agreed.

Enhypen’s Orange Blood EP

Orange Blood, the seven-member Korean boy band’s latest EP, features six tracks with ‘Sweet Venom‘ included twice — in both Korean and English language versions.

The band started promoting the EP itself towards the end of October, with the mini-album being officially released on November 17th via Belift Lab and YG Plus.

The EP follows on from the boy band’s fourth EP Dark Blood, which came out earlier in 2023, and is one of five EPs, two full-length studio albums, and nine singles the prolific Enhypen have released since they debuted in late 2020.

Apparently, fans were waiting for the Dark Blood follow up as, only 24 hours after its release, and Orange Blood had already sold almost 1.4 million units.

The EP made it onto charts in seven countries soon after release, with a #1 spot on the South Korean Albums chart, a #3 on the Belgian Albums chart, and high rankings on charts in Japan, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Enhypen’s ‘Sweet Venom’ hitting #1 on the Music Bank Chart was also why they made their live appearance on the show last week (Music Bank, Episode 1,187 on Friday, November 24th, 2023), and a very nice performance it was.

You can also listen to all six tracks from their new Orange Blood EP via Spotify below that. And, yep, the rest of the EP is just as catchy as their new single.
