First Look at Oh Hyun Kyung’s Character in new A Profitable Cage stills

Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster as KBS1’s highly-anticipated weekday drama, A Profitable Cage (working title), unveils its first glimpse into the captivating narrative via stills of main lead Oh Hyun Kyung’s character.

In the new KBS drama, Oh Hyun Kyung (The Empire) takes on the role of Oh Seon Young, a woman with a heart of gold, who not only manages a Korean restaurant but also serves as a nurturing foster mother to children awaiting their forever homes.

Despite the facade of normalcy, however, Oh Seon Young’s life is anything but ordinary.

First of all, a past accident plunged her into a coma, and then set off a tumultuous series of events that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Throw in the complexities of her tangled family dynamics, with a spotlight on the poignant bond shared between Oh Seon Young and her son, Chae Woo Ri (played by Baek Sung Hyun), as they navigate life’s unpredictable twists and turns together, and the new KBS1 drama sounds anything but predictable.

A Profitable Change (aka 수지맞은 우리 in Korean) stars Ham Eun Jung, Baek Sung Hyun, Oh Hyun Kyung, Kang Byul and Shin Jung Yoon.

The 120-episode K-drama will premiere on KBS1 on March 25th at 8:30 p.m. KST, with each episode airing for 30 minutes, and with the drama running through September.

The Korean weekday drama is being directed by Park Ki Hyun (Vengeance of the Bride), and was written by Nam Sun Hye (Amor Fati).

Until it premieres next month, enjoy the just released A Profitable Cage stills featuring Oh Hyun Kyung above and below.
