FKA twigs has just released the video for her song ‘Glass & Patron’. The video was directed by FKA twigs in connection with the YouTube Music Awards and it’s interesting to say the least.
The video, which is one of 13 YouTube Music Awards is featuring, has Twigs with an enormous pregnant belly, then giving birth underwater to dancers wrapped in colorful scarves, followed by an epic vogue dance battle in a forest somewhere. Like I said, interesting.
In fact, reading the YouTube comments on the video, there seem to be more confused people than those who actually have any clue what Twigs is trying to say with this video. Myself included.
Still, points for trying, FKA Twigs and congratulations being included in the YouTube Music Awards, as that’s a pretty big deal. Even if it isn’t ultimately my cup of tea. The video or the ‘Glass and Patron‘ track.
