British singer FKA Twigs’ song ‘Two Weeks‘ was featured on the Starz network’s Power on Saturday night (July 18th, 2015 – Season 2, Episode 6 “Why Her?“).
The track is from FKA Twigs’ debut album LP1, and was so well received when it was released in 2014, the video for the song has 12 million views.
As for FKA Twigs, she is a singer, songwriter, dancer and producer who currently has two EPs and two albums out. Her debut album made it to number 16 on the UK album charts, and to the 30th spot on the Billboard charts.

Twigs’ music is more of the ethereal type, but is classified as experimental, alternative R&B and electronic, depending on which critic is talking that day and what Twigs’ is creating.
It is unusual, however, and, with her whispered vocals, you can identify just about any song she releases as being hers within 10 seconds of listening to the opening lyrics.
FKA Twigs has become even more prominent in the last year due to her relationship and ultimate engagement to English actor Robert Pattinson, he of Twilight fame. Hopefully that prominence will eventually fade, and she will become even more known for her amazing music than for being “the girlfriend of…”.
