Remember Frankie Goes To Hollywood singing ‘The Power of Love‘ back in 1984? Well, have you heard British singer Gabrielle Aplin singing a cover version of it?
She recorded it as the lead single for her debut album, English Rain, then it was used as the John Lewis Christmas commercial in 2012, and that catapulted it to the top of the British singles charts soon after.
Today, I’ve been listening to Gabrielle Aplin singing ‘The Power of Love‘ all day as my Repeat Rotation Video (well, I’ve been watching it as well as it’s so gorgeous), just because I was in the mood for something calming and beautiful. And this, it hits the spot.
Watch Gabrielle Aplin singing ‘The Power of Love‘ below. Isn’t that just heart-achingly beautiful?
