Garbage releases ‘The Chemicals’ video for Record Store Day

This year’s Record Store Day is almost here and, in honor of that indie record store supporting event, alternative rock bandĀ Garbage has released ‘The Chemicals‘ video.

The Chemicals‘ is a two-track 10″ record that is being exclusively released via Stunvolume, Garbage’s own record label. It featuresĀ Brian Aubert of the Silversun Pickups. The video release is being exclusively presented via Mashable. Thanks, guys!

The other song on the 10″ is called ‘On Fire‘.

Garbage’s lead vocalist Shirley Manson said about working with Brian Aubert,

“Itā€™s something we’ve sort of begun as a tradition from our days of doing duets with people we really love and admire, and this time around we wanted to collaborate with Brian just because we’ve had the pleasure of bumping into him on the circuit. He and I met doing a benefit at the Pablove Foundation a few years ago now, and we just love him. We love his energy and he’s really funny, and an amazing talent and an incredible singer.”

Listen to Garbage and ‘The Chemicals‘ below. Isn’t that a fabulous song? And let’s hope it eventually gets a digital release for those of us who don’t manage to grab the vinyl.
