Georgia’s Nina Sublatti Releases ‘Locked Box’ EP And It’s Dark and Kick-Ass (Video)

The fabulous Nina Sublatti, Georgia’s representative to Eurovision 2015, has just released a new 3-track EP. Called Locked Box, it features all new music from this kick-ass Georgian singer — ‘Locked Box‘, ‘You Call Me Devil’ and ‘I’ve Got An Idea‘.

All three tracks are dark, quite powerful, but also mellow, which I love.

Let me say too, when I first heard Locked Box, I wasn’t that impressed as there’s much more of an emphasis on the music than on Sublatti’s amazing voice. Give it more than just one run through, though, and you’ll hear the complexities of these songs, and how well they do mesh with that voice. Now, of course, I’m loving this EP, and playing it over and over on Deezer.

I’ve Got An Idea‘, in particular, I can see being featured on a TV series. It’s got that great vibe a show like Pretty Little Liars would love.

Listen to Nina Sublatti’s Locked Box EP in the videos below. Grab it on iTunes, if you’d like to own it. And, if you like Sublatti’s music here, her debut album Dare To Be Nina Sublatti is available in full on YouTube and, let me tell you, it is well worth a listen.
