After going on hiatus for three weeks because of the Olympic Games, Good Partner, Episode 6 returned last night to incredibly high ratings.

So high, the SBS drama surpassed the ratings for its previous episode with last night’s nationwide rating of 13.6 percent.

That is an increase of 1.5 percent over its previous 12.1 percent rating nationwide for Episode 5.

That also meant the K-drama grabbed its highest ever Friday rating.

As it has done throughout its run so far, the Korean legal-themed drama performed even better with audiences in Seoul, grabbing a very high 14.3 percent in that region — up from Episode 5’s rating of already high 13.2 percent.

In other words, it appears the three week hiatus didn’t harm the show’s ratings at all, nor dampen people’s enthusiasm for it.

Good Partner stars Jang Na RaNam Ji Hyun, Kim Jun Han, Pyo Ji Hoon, Ji Seung Hyun and Han Jae Yi.

It airs every Friday and Saturday evening on SBS in South Korea, followed by being streamed on Viki for international audiences.

Unless another delay in airing episodes occurs, the Korean drama is currently scheduled to run through September 20th.
