I have to say I am thrilled to see the Korean historical drama Goryeo-Khitan War, Episode 10 ratings this morning via Nielsen Korea.

After all, not only did the K-drama’s 10th episode earn its highest ever rating — again — but it also hit double digits for the first time in its run.

According to Nielsen Korea, the Goryeo-Khitan War, Episode 10 ratings gave the K-drama exactly 10.00 percent of the audience share nationwide on Sunday night.

That is an increase of over 1.0 percent from its previous episode’s already high rating of 8.9 percent, and put the KBS2 drama as the third most-watched show on Korean TV on Sunday.

In Seoul, the news was just as good, with the Goryeo-Khitan War ratings last night at 9.2 percent for the Korean capital.

That is a solid increase from Episode 8’s rating of 8.6 percent, as well as nicely placing the K-drama in 3rd place for the day.

Goryeo-Khitan War, aka Korean-Khitan War, stars the stellar cast of Kim Dong Jun as King Hyeonjong of Goryeo, Choi Soo Jong as  Gang Gam-chan, and Ji Seung Hyun as Yang Gyu.

The Korean historical drama was produced by KBS to celebrate the network’s 50th anniversary and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:25 (KST) on KBS2.

It is currently scheduled to run for 32 episodes, with an estimated ending date (you never know what happens with postponements on Korean TV) of February 25th, 2024.

Some lucky international viewers can find it on Netflix or Kocowa, while the rest of us are currently left scrambling. Grrrrrrr.

If you are currently able to watch the drama, check out the trailer for Episode 11 below.
