Grace VanderWaal’s ‘Ur So Beautiful’ live proves the talented singer doesn’t need auto-tune

I am always so happy when I hear a singer live that is able to sing their songs just as perfectly as when they are recorded.

Such is the case of the young American singer songwriter Grace VanderWaal who has just released a superb live version of her non-album single ‘Ur So Beautiful‘.

The song is VanderWaal’s latest release, and was also the track around which her just completed Ur So Beautiful Tour of the United States was based.

About the track, VanderWaal explained in a press release that, while it is a song that can be song about anyone, it is also one of self-empowerment.

“This song is romantic but it’s also empowering — it can be directed at anything or anyone. It’s also kind of a note to self… a song to boost your confidence. Like, I know I’m beautiful… don’t I know that? I always try to hide it but then when I’m alone and am looking in my bathroom mirror, I know I’m beautiful. I’m good enough. I hope everyone feels that.”

Watch Grace VanderWaal give a beautiful live performance of ‘Ur So Beautiful‘ in the video below, then listen to her recorded version of the track in the Spotify widget below that. That live version is gorgeous, eh?

And by the way, do remember, with all that talent and with all that succcess she is still just 15 years old.
