Hozier was at the BBC Radio 1 studios this week where he performed an incredible live version of Sam Smith’s ‘Lay Me Down‘, but, instead of the slow ballad we’re used to from Smith, Hozier’s version was all motown-ized and rocking.
So good was Hozier’s version of ‘Lay Me Down’ even Sam Smith tweeted “Brother @Hozier – f–king love the Live Lounge cover!!!! Anything you sing makes me heart jump xx Big kisses sir xx,”
Hozier’s ‘Someone New’ video is amazing
Well, there you have it. Sam Smith loved it. I loved it. And yes, the Twitterverse loved it.
