Interpol’s new single ‘Number 10’ is disjointed, muddy and tuneless but, hey, you might like it

American rock band Interpol has released another new single from their upcoming sixth album Marauder.

Called ‘Number 10′, it follows their previous single release ‘The Rover. And while the song is not my cup of tea, it being disjointed, muddy and a bit tuneless, hey, you might like it.

Marauder itself is due to be released on Matador Records on August 24.

The album is the follow up to the band’s El Pintor and its successor, El Pintor Remixes — a collaborative effort with the likes of Factory Floor and Panda Bear. Both albums that did brilliantly for Interpol, even getting them on best of the year lists in the U.S. and overseas.

If you’re a fan of ‘Number 10′ or ‘The Rover‘, their previous release from the album, (sorry, none of this is doing anything for me so far, but I’ll keep trying), you can pre-order Marauder now from one of these links.
