Is Twenty One Pilots’ ‘Heavydirtysoul’ Music Video the Last We Will See for a While?

American hip hop electropop music duo Twenty One Pilots released a new video on the Fueled By Ramen label’s YouTube channel yesterday for their single “Heavydirtysoul’.

Interestingly, the single is from their album Blurryface, which came out way back in May 2015.

The music video has lead singer Tyler Joseph riding down snowy country lanes in the backseat of a car with a back wheel giving off sparks. As the car flies by Josh Dun, the other half of the duo, who is playing drums in the middle of the road, the wheel flies off setting his drum set on fire.

Twenty One Pilots has had great success with Blurryface in the last almost two years so, no wonder they are releasing another video with music from the critically acclaimed album. An album that has sold well over a million copies in the U.S. alone, and spawned two hit singles ‘Ride‘ and ‘Stressed Out‘.

The video may also be part of Twenty One Pilots’ last musical hurrah for a while, as the duo announced late last year that once their current tour is over in April of this year, they will be ‘going dark’ so they can concentrate on creating new music.

All I can say is, if this is one of the last music videos we see from the boys for a while, I’m not complaining. It’s cool.
