IU and Park Bo Gum still #1 and #2 on Most Buzzworthy Drama Actors list

For anyone who loved the Korean drama When Life Gives You Tangerines as much as I did, that its star IU is still at #1 on Good Data Corporation’s Most Buzzworthy Drama Actors list is probably just a given.



That her co-star Park Bo Gum is still at #2 also makes perfect sense. Right?

And yes, even though the drama itself ended over a week ago, it is no wonder a huge number of people aren’t ready to let go of it just yet.

That is why both IU and Park Bo Gum are still showing up in news articles, blogs, on social media posts and in online forums. Those places, of course, being the data used to compile the list.

That data was released in South Korea earlier today, with IU at #1 on the Most Buzzworthy Drama Actors list, Park Bo Gum still sitting at #2, the just ended The Art of Attraction‘s Lee Je Hoon hitting #3, massively popular and also just finished Buried Hearts’ star Park Hyung Sik at #4 and the star of Hyper Knife, Park Eun Bin, at #5.

Along with those five making up the Top 5, we also have the rest of the Top 10

They are also actors currently starring in dramas who you would also expect to make the list:

  2. Park Bo Gum (When Life Gives You Tangerines)
  3. Lee Je Hoon (The Art of Negotiation)
  4. Park Hyung Sik (Buried Hearts)
  5. Park Eun Bin (Hyper Knife)
  6. Lee Dong Wook (The Divorce Insurance)
  7. Heo Joon Ho (Buried Hearts)
  8. Sul Kyung Gu (Hyper Knife)
  9. Kang Tae Oh (The Potato Lab)
  10. Lee Hae Young (Buried Hearts)

In addition to the Most Buzzworthy Drama Actors list, we also got the Most Buzzworthy Drama and, weirdly, the incredibly poorly-rated The Divorce Insurance is sitting at the top of that chart.

Meanwhile, as well as IU and Park Bo Gum still grabbing South Korea’s attention, When Life Gives You Tangerines is also currently at #1 on the Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows on Netflix internationally as well.
