James Arthur’s ‘At My Weakest’ is a massive power ballad and, God, that gorgeous voice

British singer songwriter James Arthur released the lyric video for his new single ‘At My Weakest‘, and I have to admit this song slipped by me when he released it last week.

Thankfully, though, his lyric video with its huge number of views in just a few minutes grabbed my attention when it hit my YouTube feed and so, can I just say, good God, that massive power ballad is beautiful. As is that gorgeous voice.

James Arthur’s ‘At My Weakest‘ was released last week along with an up-tempo soulful funk dance piece called ‘You Deserve Better‘. Two songs to add to Arthur’s growing stable of power songs an army of ever increasing fans continue to fall in love with.

Both songs are also likely to be from Arthur’s upcoming third album. Although, with no official announcement made yet, that is just educated guesswork.

If so, it will be the follow on to his enormously successful sophomore album Back From The Edge. An album that charted in 20 countries including the U.S., the UK, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, France, Australia and New Zealand. It was also certified platinum in the UK after reaching the top spot on the  UK Albums chart.

James Arthur has, of course, done remarkably well since he won the ninth season of The X Factor in 2012 with two successful albums already under his belt, and a slew of hit singles including Safe Inside‘, ‘Naked’, ‘Impossible‘, and ‘Say You Won’t Let Go‘.

With enormous power songs like ‘At My Weakest’ and ‘You Deserve Better‘, Arthur is very likely to continue that tradition.

Listen to and watch James Arthur’s lyric video for ‘At My Weakest‘. The video is nothing much to write home about, but Ye Gods those gorgeous vocals will hit your very soul.
