Jamie Lynn Spears Releases ‘Sleepover’, a Catchy Country Pop Song

Britney Spears sister Jamie Lynn Spears reappeared back on the music scene back in 2013, after having taken five years off to have a baby and be a mom.

At the time the then-22-year-old relaunched her career as a country pop singer with her single ‘How Could I Want More‘ and a follow up EP.

Spears return was short-lived, however, before she took another three year break to work on a new collection of songs, as well as to marry businessman Jamie Watson (yep, Jamie and Jamie).

Now Jamie Lynn Spears is back with her brand new single ‘Sleepover‘, which she co-wrote with one of Taylor Swift‘s writers Liz Rose, as well as with Tina Parol and Corey Crowder.

And, yes, it’s a pretty decent song, especially because Spears’ voice does do this catchy, fun, addictive song justice, it’s not pure sappy country pop but instead has some substance, and it has a very cool guitar.

Listen to Jamie Lynn Spears’ ‘Sleepover‘ below. You can grab the single as a digital download on all major digital platforms.
