Japanese girl group Perfume announces first Asia tour since 2019 – here’s what we know so far

The Japanese girl group Perfume has announced their first tour of Asia in more than five years with a new website dedicated to the tour.

The tour is to be called Perfume ~COD3 OF P3RFUM3 ZOZ5~ Asia Tour 2024, and is the group’s first tour since their Perfume WORLD TOUR 4th “FUTURE POP, which took place from February through April, 2019.

Despite this week’s announcement, no details have yet been released about Perfume’s ~COD3 OF P3RFUM3 ZOZ5~ Asia Tour 2024, nor have any concert dates or cities been announced.

Who is Perfume?

Perfume comprises musicians Ayano Omoto (“Nocchi”), Yuka Kashino (“KASHIYUKA”) and Ayaka Nishiwaki (“a-chan”).

The group was founded in 2000, and debuted with their first single in 2002.

They have been signed with Amuse Inc since 2003, and then signed with major label Universal Music Group in 2012.

In the 24 years since Perfume was founded, the trio has released seven studio albums, three compilation albums, an EP, twenty-nine singles, almost 50 music videos, and 13 video albums.

Since their debut as a local indie group in Hiroshima, Japan Perfume has become a worldwide phenomena with fans not only in Asia, but all over the world.
