American actress Jessica Chastain recently finished filming Crimson Peak, an upcoming Gothic horror film. But, when talking to MTV at Comic-Con this weekend, she admitted she didn’t have much fun filming it.
That’s because, according to Chastain, Lady Lucille Sharpe, the character she plays in Crimson Peak is a complicated person. And she admitted, “If you’re character isn’t having fun, you’re not having fun.”
Of course, she adored the film’s director, Guillermo del Toro, but, not, it wasn’t fun.
Crimson Peak also stars Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnam and Jim Beaver, and is scheduled for release in mid-October, 2015.
