John Mayer’s Australia and Asia Tour 2019 to kick off in Auckland
While most other well-known singers kick off world tours in the U.S. or Europe, American singer songwriter John Mayer has just announced he will be starting his 2019 World Tour with four concerts in New Zealand and Australia.
Called John Mayer’s Australia and Asia Tour 2019, the first date on the tour will be in Auckland, New Zealand on March 23rd, 2019, followed by concerts in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
From there he will be heading to Singapore, Bangkok, Thailand, Jakarta, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan, and then back to America where he will begin the North America part of his 2019 World Tour in Mountain View, California on the 31st May, 2019.
Mayer is calling his concerts “An Evening With John Mayer”, and they will feature songs from across his entire career.
There will not be an opening act. Instead, Mayer announced on his Instagram account it will be “An entire evening together, playing two sets of music with more songs in rotation than ever before”.
Well, that sounds cool!
