Joss Stone’s ‘The Love We Had’ – It Should Stay on Your Mind: Repeat Rotation Video

joss stone

British singer Joss Stone is incredible. Absolutely freaking incredible. She’s blonde, gorgeous, sexy, sultry and the one of the best soul/R&B singers to come out of the United Kingdom in decades. Weirdly too, she’s far more famous in the United States than she is in the UK. Go figure.

If you like R&B, soul or even jazz, and you haven’t listened to Joss Stone yet, you are missing someone so special, she’ll blow your mind. She’s a barefoot goddess and I adore her.

Joss Stone’s ‘The Love We Had (Stays On My Mind)’ is also my Repeat Rotation Video today. It reminds me of the old Motown songs I used to listen to when I was in my teens. So gut-wrenching and powerful.

The Love We Had (Stays On My Mind) was first released by The Dells in 1971 with a completely different sound than what Joss does. While I’ve always liked The Dells’ version of the song, I have to admit Joss Stone’s is the one I’ve really fallen in love with.

Listen to it below. Luxuriate in Joss Stone’s amazing voice and, yes, play it again and again and again. Just like me.
