Julian le Play ‘1000 KM‘ lyrics video was filmed in the California desert
Austrian singer Julian le Play has released the lyrics video for his new single ‘1000 KM‘, and it’s quite beautiful.
Filmed in California with le Play wandering around in stark desert land and on the Death Valley salt flats, the video for ‘1000 KM‘ was produced and directed by filmmaker Max Parovsky
‘1000 KM‘ is from le Play’s third studio album Zugvögel, which was released in April, 2016. The album hit the number 3 spot on the Austrian album charts soon after release.
‘1000 KM‘ itself is another classic Julian le Play song.
Strong, rich vocals, a memorable and catchy melody, an orchestral undercurrent and a chorus that, even if you don’t speak much German like me, you will still be humming to yourself hours after you have finished listening to it.
Personally, as with many of his brand of pop song, I love it.
As for Julian le Play, he is kicking off another tour of Austria and Germany on November 17th in Röda, Steyr, Austria in support of the album. He will also hit Vienna, Graz, Frankfurt, Bremen and Munich among other cities.
You can check out all his tour dates on his website.
