K-drama ‘Good Partner’ to star Jang Na Ra, Kim Joon Han, Nam Ji Hyun and P.O

The cast for the upcoming SBS drama Good Partner has been announced, with the male and female leads going to Jang Na Ra, Kim Joon Han, Nam Ji Hyun and P.O (member of the boy band Block B).

Good Partner is being directed by Kim Ga Ram (Vampire Detective, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency and Nevertheless).

According to Korean news media, the upcoming SBS drama will follow a group of divorce lawyers as we see not only the cases they are involved in, but also how their work affects them and their private lives.

What parts will Jang Na Ra, Nam Ji Hyun, Kim Joon Han, and P.O play in Good Partner?

Jang Na Ra (superb in One More Happy Ending and 2023’s My Happy Ending) will play the part of 17 year veteran divorce lawyer Cha Eun Kyung who, while being known as “the national divorce lawyer” is actually in the process of getting a divorce herself.

As if things aren’t bad enough, they become even more complicated when new lawyer Han Yu Ri (played by Nam Ji Hyun) begins working at the law firm.

While Jang Na Ra is often irritable and harsh, Han Yu Ri is relaxed and calm, which of course means that the two clash.

Maybe Yu Ri takes after her mentor Jeon Eun Ho (played by P.O.)?

He is known as “the optimist lawyer” and has been mentoring Han Yu Ri since she arrived at the firm.

Meanwhile another lawyer in the firm, Jung Woo Jin (played by Kim Joon Han), may be Cha Eun Kyung’s junior, but he is often seen criticizing her when she makes a mistake or deals with things in too harsh of a way.

There is no word yet on when Good Partner will premiere, how many episodes it will be, or which international platform if any will grab it.

We do know, however, that the K-drama will be airing on SBS TV in South Korea.

We will keep you posted as we find out more.

Meanwhile, you can watch Jang Na Ra in the currently airing My Happy Ending on Viki, Kim Joon Han in Hospital Playlist on Netflix, Nam Ji Hyun in Little Women on Netflix, and P.O. in More Than Friends on Viki.
