Kendrick Lamar, Patti Smith, St. Vincent to headline Flow Festival in Helsinki, Finland in August
Finland’s Flow Festival has just announced part of the line-up for their upcoming August concerts, and it is pretty cool.
Rapper and songwriter Kendrick Lamar, music icon Patti Smith and indie artist St. Vincent are among the headliners, along with Bonobo, Grizzly Bear, Sigrid, Mura Masa and ALMA.
Other artists that will be performing at Flow Festival in Helsinki will be announced on Monday 29th January, but you can expect them to be equally fabulous.
And what is unique about Flow Festival is, sure, they always have massively popular music artists as headliners, but they also allow a huge number of emerging artists to perform and to get some of the recognition associated with playing at the festival too.
They even have a nice mix of Finnish and international artists, so they definitely don’t forget their own.
Tickets are on sale for the three-day event now and, no, this being Europe, they are not cheap.
A three-day ticket is going for €195 ($239) and a Gold three-day pass for €295 ($361). The Gold pass comes with express lane access, a bar and a cafe and, of course, fancy bathrooms.
There are also travel packages available that include your accommodation and, yes, they are generally a better deal.
You can currently pick up tickets via the Flow Festival website. Just be warned, even with the high price, they do sell fast.
