Kim Dong Wook announces upcoming marriage

The agency for popular South Korean actor Kim Dong Wook has just announced the 40-year-old actor will be marrying his non-celebrity long-term girlfriend this winter.

According to KeyEast, Kim Dong Wook will be marrying his girlfriend in a private ceremony somewhere in Seoul this winter.

Neither the agency nor the actor will be divulging the venue where the wedding is taking place, so that the privacy of the actor’s soon-to-be wife and family can be preserved.

KeyEast closed their statement by saying:

We ask for your warm congratulations messages for Kim Dong Wook, who is now starting a new journey in his life.

He will continue to do his best and show an even better side of himself in his work in the future.

Considering Kim Dong Wook has managed to keep his relationship secret for who knows how long, today’s news came as a surprise to fans most of whom are now congratulating the actor via various websites.

The actor himself tends to keep his private life completely private, avoiding all social media and, thus, the controversy other South Korean actors sometimes experience.

Smart man!

Meanwhile, as an actor, Kim Dong Wook is just off a busy early 2023 having starred in two successful dramas that aired almost back-to-back — tvN’s Delightfully Deceitful and KBS2’s My Perfect Stranger.

He is also a popular actor with K-drama fans for his roles in recent years in hit dramas like The King of Pigs, You Are My Spring, Find Me in Your Memory, The Guest and Special Labor Inspector Jo, as well as in films like Trade Your Love, Along with the Gods (both films) and Three Summer Night.

With Kim Dong Wook’s wedding now occurring in the next few months, he has not as yet announced any future projects.

Of course, we will keep you posted as soon as they are announced.
