King the Land stills have Lee Jun Ho as a prickly chaebol heir about to be changed by love

South Korean singer songwriter and actor Lee Jun Ho is featured this week in three just-released King the Land stills.

King the Land, of course, is the upcoming JTBC rom com due to premiere in mid-June with Lee Jun Ho playing the main lead role of Goo Won.

The new King the Land stills show the 2PM band member lifting weights, in the driver’s seat of an obviously expensive sports car, and secretly thinking about something as he smiles sweetly.

Could it possibly be about his co-star, Girls’ Generation’s Im Yoon Ah, eh?

What is King the Land?

The upcoming new rom com stars Lee Ju Ho (aka Junho) as Gu Won, a stern and spoiled chaebol heir who really hates people who constantly smile, as he believes much of it is fake.

That is why, even while being one of the richest men in Korea, his annoying personality usually stops him from being successful in the dating department.

But after beginning to work at his own company-owned King Hotel, he meets hotelier Cheon Sa Rang (played by Im Yoon Ah). A woman who smiles so much, she has been nicknamed by those around her as the ‘Queen of Smiles’.

As you might expect, Gu Won dislikes Sa Rang on sight until, of course, because of her own strong personality, Sa Rang is able to get through that barrier he has erected around himself.

In other words, it appears Lee Jun Ho is about to be changed by love.

King the Land is the latest JTBC romantic comedy from a company that already has two of the most popular dramas of 2023 currently airing — Doctor Cha and The Good Bad Mother.

With King the Land starring two idols — 2PMs Junho and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona — I am already predicting this one will end up being another JTBC hit. Right?

The cute looking rom com is due to premiere on June 17, 2023, and will then air every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30 (KST) through August 6th.

Viewers who miss the broadcast can watch it via TVING.

Outside South Korea, international viewers will be able to catch each episode of King the Land via Netflix.

Enjoy the new King the Land stills above, and check out the just-released King of the Land trailer below to watch Gu Won being pretty much “managed” by Cheon Sa Rang.

Yep, this one looks incredibly cute.
