After the popular KBS2 drama Korea-Khitan War experienced a huge ratings drop with Episode 19 on Saturday night, I am happy to see the show’s ratings shoot back up to over 10 percent with last night’s Episode 20.
Then again, as Episode 19 only experienced a drop due to a televised AFC Asian Cup football game between South Korea and Jordan, it is not too surprising the Korean drama climbed back up to its usual strong rating the following night.
That strong rating, according to Nielsen Korea, was 10.1 percent nationwide, after Saturday evening’s drop to 7.9 percent.
The Korean historical drama also experienced a ratings rise from audiences in Seoul.
In that region, the K-drama’s latest episode shot back up from Saturday’s 6.4 percent to Sunday night’s 9.1 percent viewer share.
The popular award-winning Korean drama features the excellent main cast of Kim Dong Jun, Choi Soo Jong, and Ji Seung Hyun, and airs every Saturday and Sunday on KBS2 in Korea at 21:25 (KST).
Some international viewers can watch the hit drama via both Viki or on KOCOWA.
