Leon Bridges, the amazing gospel and soul singer from Fort Worth, Texas was on James Corden back in March and blew me away with his performance of ‘Better Man’. Now he’s just released a video for his latest single ‘Smooth Sailin’‘ from his upcoming debut album Coming Home, and it’s just as sweet.
The video for ‘Smooth Sailin’‘ has its’ spotlight firmly on Leon Bridges as he sings in his usual honeyed, soulful voice. What makes it even more gorgeous is the simplicity of the video. It’s very 1960s in tone. Just Bridges, some backing singers and a band. Elegant and lovely. And so mellow and smooth.
