Adam Ant’s ‘Goody Two Shoes‘ was featured on the second episode of The Umbrella Academy this week.
It was played as Klaus throws his late father’s journal into a dumpster, takes the box it was in to a pawn shop and sells it. He then uses the money to buy drugs.
‘Goody Two Shoes‘ was the debut song of Adam Ant’s new solo career, which he kicked off in 1982 after the break up of his band Adam and the Ants.
Interestingly, however, even though ‘Goody Two Shoes‘ was a hit for Adam Ant, he moved away from a music career a couple of years afterwards and concentrated on his career in acting instead.
Over the next 25 years, Ant appeared in TV shows like The Equalizer, Tales from the Crypt and La Femme Nikita, as well as featured in films such as Love Bites and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

He dabbled in music from 1985 until 2010, releasing another three studio albums and going on a number of tours. His music career really kicked off again in 2011, though, when he went on tour with the The Good, The Mad And The Lovely Tour of the UK and Northern Ireland.
Ant has performed in five other major UK and world tours since then.
