There was an utterly gorgeous song featured on the newest episode of the ABC medical drama The Good Doctor last night — AG and Connie Lim’s ‘Shine A Light.
That track showed up on The Good Doctor, Season 3, Episode 15, “Unsaid”, which aired on February 17th, 2020.
It was that sweet and lovely song played at the beginning of the episode during the surgery on the boy who could not breathe.
AG and Connie Lim’s ‘Shine A Light‘ is a remake of The Rolling Stones original that was released on the band’s 10th studio album Exile on Main St. way back in 1972.
Producer AG (aka Adrianne “AG” Gonzalez) and Los Angeles-based soul pop singer Connie Lim have been collaborating for a while. Lim signed a production deal with AG and has been creating music under her MILCK project ever since.
She also signed with Atlantic Records soon after, and released her debut EP This Is Not The End in 2018.
Lim herself came to national prominence when she wrote and performed the song ‘Quiet‘. The song was eventually used as an almost-anthem for the Women’s March in Washington D.C in 2017.
Listen to AG and Connie Lim’s ‘Shine A Light’ as featured on The Good Doctor in the video below. You can also hear the original much harder Rolling Stones version below that.
Fans of The Good Doctor will also be pleased as ABC recently announced the popular drama series has just been renewed for season 4.
