Swedish indie pop soul singer songwriter Albin Lee Meldau’s ‘Bloodshot‘ was played on the latest episode of Power this week — Power, Season 6, Episode 9, “Scorched Earth” (aired on Sunday October 27th, 2019).
The track was heard over the episode’s end credits.
It is not the first time the song has been featured on a hit TV series, however, as it was also heard on Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger earlier in the year.
Meldau has also been quite successful licensing his music to other hit TV series in the last couple of years, with his songs appearing on NCIS: Los Angeles, Lethal Weapon, Supergirl, MacGyver and Love Island (UK).
He has also received attention from major music media for his work, being named as NPR Music’s artist to see at SXSW and even being given a spot on their iconic Tiny Desk Concerts roster.
