American singer songwriter Andrew Belle’s ‘Pieces’ was featured on the new season of You this week — You, Season 2, Episode 1, “A Fresh Start”.
The song was played right at the beginning of the episode as we see Joe and Love wearing headphones and sharing food.
Andrew Belle’s ‘Pieces‘ is the first single from his sophomore studio album Black Bear, and was written for his wife soon after their wedding.
Released in August, 2013, Black Bear is an album of ambient songs that were in a completely different direction than what the alternative, indie folk rock singer had produced previously.
A year later, Belle released an EP of five of the songs from Black Bear that were stripped down, along with a remix of the album’s title single.
