Listen to Bob Marley’s ‘Three Little Birds’ from Ted Lasso, S3 E6 from end of Ajax friendly game

Episode 6 of the third season of Ted Lasso dropped earlier today and, with it, yet more catchy songs on its soundtrack.

Songs like the classic Bob Marley & The Wailers ‘Three Little Birds‘, which was heard right at the beginning of the episode as Richmond is defeated by Ajax in the Netherlands 5-0, and the crowd sings the song.

The song was heard again at the end of the episode as Rebecca starts singing it on the bus, and then the original song itself plays over the end credits — Ted Lasso, Season 3, Episode 6, “Sunflowers“.

Bob Marley & The Wailers ‘Three Little Birds‘ has been the favorite song of Ajax fans since 2008 when the fans were in Cardiff, Wales for a friendly match, heard the song being played by the stadium DJ and loved it.

The rest is history.

Interestingly too, it doesn’t matter whether Ajax wins a match or loses, the fans sing ‘Three Little Birds‘ anyway.

Bob Marley & The Wailers ‘Three Little Birds‘ came out in 1977 on the group’s ninth album, and was then released as a single in 1980.

The track became a hit for the reggae band, and it went on to become a fan favorite.

Listen to Bob Marley & The Wailers ‘Three Little Birds‘ as heard on Ted Lasso this week on the song’s official music video, and on the Spotify widget.

It’s just so damned catchy, eh?
