Swiss electro pop songwriter and producer Tobias Jundt ‘s band Bonaparte’s ‘Melody X‘ was featured on the second season of the Netflix sci-fi series Dark this week — Season 2, Episode 3, “Gespenster” (Ghosts).
The track was heard as we see the character montage, and as Tannhaus looks at the book Claudia gave him.
Bonaparte’s ‘Melody X‘ is from the Berlin-based band’s 2017 album The Return of Stravinsky Wellington.
It is a track that was written about doing what you have to do to keep your head above water. Even during times when everything looks so grim.
As for Bonaparte, it is a band with only one permanent member — Tobias Jundt — who writes all the music for the band. He then adds other band members and performers when Bonaparte goes out on tour, or is in the studio.
