Listen to Bootstraps’ ‘Stand By Me’ from Grey’s Anatomy, Season 15 “Girlfriend in a Coma”

Music from Bootstraps was back on Grey’s Anatomy this week

Music from Bootstraps, aka American alternative rock singer Jordan Beckett, was featured yet again on a popular TV series this week.

This time, it was medical drama Grey’s Anatomy — Season 15, Episode 12, “Girlfriend in a Coma” — and the song chosen was Bootstraps’ cover version of Ben E. King’s ‘Stand By Me‘.

The track itself is from the Los Angeles-based singer’s sophomore album Homage. The album was released in 2016 on the Atelier Records label.

The song was played during emotional scenes as Alex gets the medical staff together so Natasha and Garrett can get married, and as Richard tells Catherine he will be by her side as she recovers.

This week’s Grey’s Anatomy feature was not the first time Bootstraps’ songs have appeared in American TV series either. He has also had music played in Grey’s Anatomy previously, as well as in Private Practice, Elementary, Supergirl, Parenthood and Suits.
