Listen to Brian Reitzell and Debbie Harry’s ‘Tehran 1979‘ from ‘American Gods‘
The Brian Reitzell, Debbie Harry and Shirley Manson track ‘Tehran 1979′ was featured on the new Starz TV series ‘American Gods‘ this week. Season 1, Episode 8, “Come To Jesus“.
The track was played at the end of the episode when Bilquis is dancing at a disco and the club is attacked, and then as she asks a fellow passenger on the plane she is flying on to meet her in the bathroom.
‘Tehran 1979′ is a new collaboration between ‘American Gods‘ series music scorer Reitzell, Debbie Harry and Garbage’s Shirley Manson, and is also included on the series’ soundtrack, which was just released on June 16th on Milan Records.
The collaboration with Debbie Harry and Shirley Manson, of course, came about because Blondie (Harry’s band) is touring this summer and Garbage is playing with them.
