British singer songwriter Calum Scott’s ‘Dancing On My Own‘ was the last song featured on the new episode of DC’s Stargirl tonight — DC’s Stargirl, Season 1, Episode 10, “Brainwave Jr.”.
The song was heard playing over the end credits.
Calum Scott’s ‘Dancing On My Own‘ is the singer songwriter’s biggest hit to date with over 406 million views on the official music video on YouTube so far, and for very good reason.
The song is a cover of Swedish singer Robyn’s hit single and was originally sung by Calum Scott as his audition piece for the talent show Britain’s Got Talent in 2015.
Not only was his audition utterly gorgeous and note perfect, it also earned him the Golden Buzzer from Judge Simon Cowell and, thus, an immediate spot in the talent show’s live shows.
Scott went on to finish sixth in the show’s finale, but that didn’t stop him.
Soon after, he released his cover of ‘Dancing On My Own‘ as a single, which eventually ended up at #2 on the UK Singles chart and was certified Platinum soon after.
Since then, Calum Scott has released his debut studio album Only Human and several other singles.
One of his most recent singles was No Matter What, a song telling the story of Scott coming out as gay to his parents and them telling him they love him no matter what.
