Listen to Carlie Hanson’s ‘Good Enough’ from Legacies, Season 3, Episode 12

American alt pop singer songwriter Carlie Hanson’s ‘Good Enough’ was used on the soundtrack of Legacies last night — Legacies, Season 3, Episode 12, “I Was Made to Love You“.

The song was heard as Josie asks Finch to go to the Salvatore School and continues playing as they kiss, and is a track about not feeling worthy enough to be really loved.

Carlie Hanson’s ‘Good Enough‘ is from the Wisconsin native’s sophomore EP DestroyDestroy DestroyDestroy, which was released in 2020 via the Warner Bros. record label.

The singer got her start on YouTube posting videos of cover songs after being inspired by Justin Bieber.

She received significant attention for her work, however, when Taylor Swift added two of her tracks to her Apple Music playlist of favorite songs.

In the last couple of years, Hanson’s music has also been licensed for play in a slew of popular TVshows.

The include Siesta Key, wtFock (aka Skam Belgium), and The Hills: New Beginnings, as well as in the film Sierra Burgess is a Loser.

Listen to Carlie Hanson’s ‘Good Enough‘ as heard on Legacies on her DestroyDestroy DestroyDestroy EP, and in the song’s official music video.

A video that has Hanson singing the song while interspersed with clips of her running away from the relationship she feels she is not good enough to be in.

Meanwhile, Season 3 of Legacies is streaming via The CW, with a fourth season scheduled to kick off in October.
