Charlotte Gainsbourg’s ‘Hey Joe‘ was featured on the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries last week — Season 8, Episode 3 “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving“. The track is from the soundtrack to the Lars von Trier’s movie Nymphomaniac, and was produced by Beck. The original song, of course, was recorded by Jimi Hendrix.
Gainsbourg also starred in Nymphomaniac. ‘Hey Joe‘ played over the closing credits.
Charlotte Gainsbourg is a British-French actress and singer. She currently has four albums out, one released when she was just 15 years old, and is the recipient of a César Award and the Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Award.
