Montreal based band Chiiild’s ‘Count Me Out‘ was featured on the latest episode of the medical drama The Resident this week — The Resident, Season 3, Episode 9, “Out for Blood“. The track was played as the doctors are performing brain surgery.
‘Count Me Out‘ is one of only three songs Chiiild has released so far. Each song is markedly different, however, so it is difficult, and refreshing, to not be able to easily put them into a box as to what genre is their music.
They call it soul music but, as they strike me as a band whose music is likely to be constantly changing, we’ll see.

Their debut EP Synthetic Soul is due for release in early 2020.
