Listen to Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro’s ‘Stumblin’ In’ from Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Ep. 3

While American rock singer songwriter Suzi Quatro had big hits in her own right, especially in Europe where she was bigger than she ever became in America, one of her biggest successes was a collaboration with English rock singer Chris Norman in 1978.

Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro’s ‘Stumblin’ In‘ came out in late 1978 and shot to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. It became Quatro’s only Top 40 placement, and the only time Norman had big success in the United States.

Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro’s ‘Stumblin’ In‘ also re-emerged this week on the soundtrack of the new Netflix series DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Episode 3, “Doin’ a Dahmer”.

A soundtrack featuring some of the biggest hits of the 1970s and 80s.

The song was playing in the episode as Dahmer is driving and stops to pick up a hitchhiker.

Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro’s ‘Stumblin’ In‘ also charted in six other countries, hitting #1 on the Canadian RPM Adult Contemporary chart, and #2 in South Africa.

Listen to Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro’s ‘Stumblin’ In‘ as heard on Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story in the Spotify player.

It is a catchy song that is a standout due to the lovely raw quality of both Norman and Quatro’s vocals.

There is also a live performance the pair gave together back in 1978 that has, so far at least, survived the YouTube copyright b.s. Watch that below too.
