You can pretty much guarantee, every week you watch an episode of the long-runing ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, you will be introduced to some superb new music.
Take Club Yoko’s ‘I Like You‘ from this week’s Grey’s Anatomy — Season 15, Episode 22, “Head Over High Heels” — which was aired on April 19th, 2019.
Club Yoko’s ‘I Like You‘ was heard at the beginning of the episode as we see Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) in bed, with Meredith soon reminding him he must leave as he cannot stay the night.
The song continues playing as Meredith kisses him goodbye, and as Andrew then tries to get out of the house without being detected. He is unsuccessful, however, when he bumps into Meredith’s daughter Zola.
Club Yoko is a Nashville-based pop rock band with just a handful of self-released singles out at the moment — ‘Voila’, ‘I Am‘ and ‘I Like You’ — and that, quite frankly, is all I can currently find out about them.
That being said, while information about the indie pop band is sparse, you have got to admit their songs are incredibly upbeat and catchy.
